Opportunities

Over the last several weeks, several opportunities have opened up in our community, through teaching English. We are grateful that the Lord has allowed these avenues to allow us to integrate with our community.

The local school asked Chris to do a seminar on teaching English with the local teachers. It was a great occasion to make a connection with them. After the morning of training, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with the teachers. These ladies provide the education for the 1st-6th graders at the home.

Another missionary in the area has been invited to teach English, and to lead a Bible study at the local prison. Becca is excited to take part in this ministry. It’s a great way to minister to the ladies, spread the Gospel, and practice speaking Thai.

Please pray with us that we would faithfully steward these times of connection in the community, and we would see the Gospel take root here in Nong Lom.
