Frequently Asked Questions

What is your sending church?

We are sent out of Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, CA under Pastor Paul Chappell.

Are you with a missions agency?

Yes. We are with Baptist International Missions, Inc.

Do you need to learn a language?

Yes. We will spend two years in language study to learn the Thai language.

How long have you been on the mission field?

We have not lived in Thailand yet. We are currently on deputation.

When do you plan to move to Thailand?

Our current goal is to finish deputation in the fall of 2016 and leave for the field by December of 2016.

Where are you from?

Chris grew up in Las Vegas, NV and Becca grew up in Murfreesboro, TN. We both attended West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA and after that, worked on staff at Lancaster Baptist Church. See our "About Us" page for our complete testimonies.

What are your goals in Thailand?

Our first project when we get to Thailand will be to learn the language. While we do that, we will be working with a veteran missionary to learn and acclimate to the culture. From there, our goals are win people, baptize them, disciple the new believers and establish local churches.
